Stashr ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Stashr app, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID and, if you choose to share it, your email address. This is used solely to authenticate your account and sync your data.
• App content. The data you create within Stashr is stored in your account to provide core functionality.
• App preferences. Settings such as display preferences are stored locally on your device.
• Financial transactions. Income, expense, and savings data you enter is stored locally on your device by default. Cloud sync is optional and encrypted.
• Savings goals. Goal names, targets, and progress are stored locally or optionally synced.
• Subscription status. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your active subscription tier but never see your payment details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, maintain, and improve Stashr.
• Authenticate your account and sync data across your devices.
• Respond to support requests.

We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

3. Data Sharing

• Cloud infrastructure. Your account and app data are stored on AWS (Amazon Web Services). AWS processes data in accordance with their own privacy and security standards.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal process.

Local Storage

By default, all financial data is stored only on your device. If you enable cloud sync, your data is encrypted before being uploaded to AWS. You can disable sync and delete remote data at any time in Settings → Privacy.

4. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at support@bluekyte.de. Deletion requests are processed within 30 days.

5. Security

We use industry-standard measures — including HTTPS encryption in transit and AWS security controls at rest — to protect your data.

6. Children's Privacy

For children under the age of 13, a parent or legal guardian must provide consent before the child uses the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

7. Your Rights

You may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@bluekyte.de.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
